Nearly at the month’s end

Welcome back, the recording of my daily spending habits is continuing and although I have had a bit of a spending spree in the lead-up to starting my new job everything else seems to be going as well as planned.  And as I approach the end of the month, I am beginning to think about what I should budget for, how much should I spend on groceries? How much should I budget for eating out or ordering in? those sorts of things.

Thankfully now I have a month’s worth of spending habits that I can use as a guide to help determine what is reasonable and what is an excessive amount to spend. Now each person will have a different idea of what is suitable and that’s fine, at the end of the day the budget has to suit you. You won’t stick to something if you hate it or if it’s unrealistic for your situation. So for the last week of the month, as I add my daily spending entries into my log. I will start to think about where I could distribute my money better. Considering what costs I can cut and what I can live without. I will draw up a few rough drafts so that when I sit down next week and finalise my budget I can tweak it to properly suit my monthly habits.

So until then, there is not much I can do but carry on and wait until the end of the month and the start of October when I will begin the budget. So until then stay tuned and have a look at my post about washing and storing berries.

Have a good one and catch you later.
